These days we are talking about "contrast" and "edge" with friends many times .Here in Tokyo,too,"contrast" is one of a hidden currents,since "Softness" has been dominated in people's mind or uncosciousness these years.
We can't ignore such kind of flow or mirror of 'time' hidden or unaware,because, we 'are living'.

To live and see 'forward' and 'backward' at once....that is a figure of an 'artist' I guess, and in that term, Nick Knight is a great 'ARTIST' .

This work couldn't stop reminding me of Amos Gitai's exellent movie "Zihron Devarim".... but yes I know anyone's work can't compare to others... to be "private", or to see things around us that exist so naturally as we can't consider them in our daily life with "washed" eyes , must be a new journey to the "new" world... must bring another "light".
